If you have very little or no college behind you, then you should consider an Associate’s Degree.  This, oftentimes, is your first step to obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree, if you choose to pursue one.

 

An Associate’s Degree is a higher-education, academic program on a particular course of study or profession.  The duration of this type of degree is typically two years and 60 hours of course work if you take an average of 15 hours per semester.  It also most often equals the first two years of a traditional four-year degree or program. 

Associate’s Degree programs are offered at most higher education institutions.  You’ll find these programs through junior or community colleges, 4-year colleges and universities and many business schools.

Why would you be interested in achieving an Associate’s Degree, you may ask.  It could give you the upper hand in the workplace, build your self-confidence, broaden your vocabulary and set you up for success in every aspect of life.  Until you’ve pursued some kind of degree, regardless of the level, you’ll never understand the dynamics that occur in the process.  You’ll also never understand the way that it can dramatically change your quality of life, the lives of your loved ones and your whole way of thinking.
